APPLICATIONS EXAMPLES
The DATAFLEX remote monitoring system can be deployed on a wide variety of applications. From monitoring the structural integrity of rail wagon’s bogies to monitoring the vibration and electromagnetic disturbances in sensitive laboratory environments, DATAFLEX can be configured to fit specific requirements.
ROLLING STOCK ONBOARD STRUCTURAL MONITORING
To gain a full understanding of the dynamic environment and loads rolling stocks are subject to over their lifetime, DATAFLEX can be configured to monitor static and dynamic strain on structural components.
The FLEXDAQ hardware can operate onboard rail stock for long periods of time (12 to 18 months or more). Data acquired by FLEXDAQ are uploaded to FLEXSPACE for permanent storage, analysis and reporting.
FLEXDAQ configurations can also be adjusted via the remote and secured wireless connection.
MONITORING VIBRATION AND ELECTROMAGNETIC INTERFERENCE
To achieve manufacturer’s specifications, sensitive equipment such as Electron Microscopes must be isolated from unwanted vibration and or electromagnetic interference.
During construction/renovations monitoring to understand and act on excessive levels of such phenomena is often of paramount importance.
DATAFLEX simultaneously measures, alerts and reports on several vibration and electro magnetic field metrics.

SYNCHRONISED MONITORING OF EVENTS AT MULTIPLE LOCATIONS
Multiple FLEXDAQ systems can be synchronised using high resolution GPS Time Synchronisation. Measurements from multiple systems remain synchronised regardless of their measurement locations.
Monitoring transient events in a water supply network can help identify and locate asset issues such as pumping stations failures or leaks.

SMS Alerts can be set-up and sent directly from FLEXDAQ to ensure nominated mobile phone numbers receive exceedances in the shortest time possible.

FLEXUI Desktop Application
